So What Did we Actually Do?

The Gold Coast Show celebrated their 110th year anniversary in 2016 and needed some help to promote the event. We were asked to increase online ticket sales and engagement. By combining a few of our skills and talents, we were able to create a marketing campaign for the Show. This was done through a combination of social media management, video production, content creation, facebook campaigns and website re-design.

We managed the Gold Coast Show social media accounts for 6 weeks by creating unique content and running promotional campaigns. We increased the Gold Coast Shows statistics by a significant amount to the previous year.

Social Media.

The Gold Coast Show Society didn’t want to have to worry about consistently posting on their social media accounts, so we did it all for them. We created all the content and posted it at the right times. This meant that we had all their social media sorted and they could focus on everything else.

110 Years- 110 Reasons.

We created a competition to encourage people to tell us their favourite part about the Gold Coast Show. A video accompanied the competition which was posted on Facebook.

Pokemon Go.

We wanted to target a younger demographic and get them interested in coming to the show. This was also the time when Pokemon Go was incredibly popular so we decided to make the most of the situation.

Website.

The Gold Coast Show Society wanted to increase online ticket sales so their website had to be functional and appealing. They found that the original website wasn’t user-friendly enough and needed to be re-designed if they wanted to increase online sales. We created the new home page for the website so it was easier to for users to buy tickets and find what they needed to know about the event. We also maintained and made updates to the entire website during the 6 weeks we worked with the show soceity.
